- Summary: Mr. Lincoln is an African American Principal who takes a special interest in all the students in his school. Of course, there is the school bully, Eugene who is known as “Mean Gene”, who picks on everybody. Mr. Lincoln helps out Eugene and after school one day the two of them fix up the atrium with new trees and birdhouses. The principal taught Eugene a lesson in tolerence and respect for others through their atrium project, which brought a bunch of different birds to the atrium. This helped stop his bullying.
